     Here is my very first card using an entire bouquet of homemade flowers.  It was actually my oldest daughter's idea.  She suggested I use my  Deep Red Stamp,  Create a Cameo ,  to make a pick to go into a bouquet of flowers.   I just love her creativity, she is the number one child I go to when I have a question about one of my cards.      After I finished this card, I wasn't too sure you could actually tell the  Create a Cameo  is on a pick but I do like it immensely.      For the pick I stamped the cameo three times and layered it with foam tape and then I added a tooth pick I had painted white.  Next I added liquid pearls to the images hat and around the border of the frame.  I also added just a little Stickles to the center of the flowers.  Finally, I tied a bow around the pick and inserted it into my flowers.      The flowers large flowers were easy to create from dies.  I just had to roll them up from a spiral.  The smaller flowers and leaves are all punches.

Hi everyone!  I'm Peg and I am so happy to be a part of the Deep Red Stamps design team.  I have to admit I am a stamp-o-holic and I absolutely love the stamps from Deep Red Stamps.  Today I'd like to share my first project as a team member.  This adorable little bear stamp ( Bear and Flower ) was stamped using my favorite black ink.  I love the crisp images you get from the stamps.  The small details, such as the stitching on this little guy, stand out perfectly once the image is colored because it is such a clear image.  The next thing I did was to color everything with markers from several different companies.  I, then, went back over several areas such as the flower pot to add some shading on the pot and on the bear's arms and body.  It, also, helped to add a look of texture to make the bear look fuzzy. Who wouldn't want to cuddle with this cute little bear?  The flower makes me want spring to come even more quickly now. When you look at it, you can alm

Happy Saturday  to you.  This week I have the second in a series of cameo cards.  This one I call Violet Cameo and I'll bet you can tell why.  This is  Deep Red Stamps , Cameo Nouveau .  I just love all the wonderful filigree detail around the border of the stamp and the pretty lady's silhouette with those pretty jewels.      This is the first time I've used twinkling H20's on a card and I just love the sheen they give and the way the show all the filigree detail in the Cameo Nouveau   I mixed a lavender and gold together for this dreamy cameo.  I also used the lavender H20's on the embossed portion of the rose border and the butterfly's wings.      I couldn't resist this beautiful Violet paper when I first saw it at the store, I mean with a daughter named Violet, do you really think I would even try?  Even if I didn't have the daughter, this paper is just gorgeous.  I did add a layer of stickles to all the light portions of the Violets and wow do
