Stamping on Textured Paper

Image
Tip: When stamping on textured paper, such as watercolor paper, place some craft foam underneath, then stamp.  Craft foam is inexpensive and any thickness is fine.  I used the 1/16" thick foam that comes in a large multi-color pack, but the foam can be purchased by the sheet at a hobby store.  Stamping onto watercolor paper gives you more options for coloring in the designs, especially watercolors or watercolor pencils. The featured stamps are the City Girls from several different sets: (from left to right) hands on hips girl is from City Girls Street Chic , next girl in green gown is from City Girls Formal Affair , girl in yellow is from City Girls Summer Vacation  and the long ruffled gown girl is from City Girls Formal Affair .

Along the side of the 4 1/2" wide, green center piece, I stamped our Anemone Print Background Rubber Stamp onto white tissue paper.  The entire 12 x 12 page is a bone colored textured paper. What I love about this project: A scrapbook page provides a large canv...
