We have a new digital download available: It is the  Casual Chic - Modern Fashion Plates Coloring Booklet   featuring 12 girls dressed in cute outfits along with accessories such as eyewear, hats, purses, and some even have a dog with them.  All of the girls measure over 6 inches in height and print onto 3 pages (landscape). The outfits are fun and unique. You will always be challenged to use various colors while practicing your shading and blending techniques. I had such a blast creating the examples for this project.   Tip: If you have not already, this is a good way to get to know what markers you have. There is a color swatch area to label and try out colors before committing onto a character, which is especially helpful for skin and hair. In my case, I got to know which skin tone markers I had. Between 2 sets of brush tip markers, I was able to create a variety of skin colors so that each girl did not look identical to the next. The best part is that you do...

  We have a new download available to practice hand lettering in the style of "Sailor Jerry" which has an artsy, California, tattoo vibe. Hand lettering is a wonderful way to draw letters and do something artistic with minimal supplies. All you need is paper, pencil and a marker. Add a rubber stamp to embellish your creation.  This is a modified version of the common tattoo font that I created and am sharing it with you. Practice your hand lettering on handmade cards, scrapbook and journal pages. This is a 2-page pdf download with grids squares.  Tip: Cut the pages in half to fit a mini clipboard if you wish.   ​ Journals are always a good idea, no matter what the size. There doesn't seem to be mini journals you can buy anywhere, so let's make one (or a few). In this project, we create a mini journal sized at 3 inches by 4 inches with 14 pages. Decorate with stamps, stickers, practice your hand lettering, whatever you like.  Alternately, make it a flip page (like a book) or accordion style just by alternating how you glue the pages together. And of course, you get to decorate the cover as you wish. I decided to cover this journal cover with die cut leaves. The theme of the journal is an "Ode to Trees."   Perfume bottle design is an art form. If you think of some of the big names out there, the creativity involved in designing the bottles ​is unreal. We have created a free printable download of four bottle shapes and labels for you to decorate with rubber stamps and cutout. It's just a fun paper project that will have you thinking, 'what would my perfume line be called?' Above is one of the bottles cut out and our  ​Blooming Sakura Rubber Stamp  is stamped in pink ink, trimmed out and placed in the corner. This project is great to use your pink hued markers. Gold embossing would also look excellent on these bottles. The free download, printable 8.5 x 11 inch page also includes some circle, octagon and rectangle shaped labels.
