Cameo Bouquet

Here is my very first card using an entire bouquet of homemade flowers.  It was actually my oldest daughter's idea.  She suggested I use my Deep Red Stamp,  Create a Cameoto make a pick to go into a bouquet of flowers.   I just love her creativity, she is the number one child I go to when I have a question about one of my cards.

After I finished this card, I wasn't too sure you could actually tell the Create a Cameo is on a pick but I do like it immensely.

For the pick I stamped the cameo three times and layered it with foam tape and then I added a tooth pick I had painted white.  Next I added liquid pearls to the images hat and around the border of the frame.  I also added just a little Stickles to the center of the flowers.  Finally, I tied a bow around the pick and inserted it into my flowers.

The flowers large flowers were easy to create from dies.  I just had to roll them up from a spiral.  The smaller flowers and leaves are all punches.  I added pearls to the centers to finish them off.

If your looking for a cameo stamp, I can't recommend this Deep Red Create a Cameo enough, It comes with several different centers and a different background so that you can create many different cameos with one stamp.

The outfits are fun and unique. You will always be challenged to use various colors while practicing your shading and blending techniques. I had such a blast creating the examples for this project.   Tip: If you have not already, this is a good way to get to know what markers you have. There is a color swatch area to label and try out colors before committing onto a character, which is especially helpful for skin and hair. In my case, I got to know which skin tone markers I had. Between 2 sets of brush tip markers, I was able to create a variety of skin colors so that each girl did not look identical to the next. The best part is that you do...
