Honey Bee Tag, Summer Project II

All of this month, I'm featuring summer-themed projects with our rubber stamps.  There are so many to pick from, I had a hard time narrowing it down to a few!  For this project, I started with Ranger manila colored tag, no. 8 size (6 1/4" x 3 1/8").  I embossed our Honey Comb Background Rubber Stamp onto cream colored paper with a copper embossing powder.  The stamp is quite large and measures 4" x 6."  The brown band along the bottom allowed for yellow and white bakery twine and some extra embellishments.  The flowers in the corner are from Petaloo.  An extra bee is stamped on craft paper, cut out and added Glossy Accents (Inkssentials/Ranger).

The embossed honey comb came out so cool, it looks like metal up close (see above). The moth cutouts near the top of the tag are from our Dragonflies and Friends Rubber Stamp Collection stamped with black StazOn ink onto craft colored paper and some added gold glitter glue in the centers.  The center of the tag features our Honey Bee Vintage Label Rubber Stamp, also embossed with the copper powder.   Hope you enjoyed this project. New Coloring Booklet Casual Chic

We have a new digital download available: It is the  Casual Chic - Modern Fashion Plates Coloring Booklet   featuring 12 girls dressed in cute outfits along with accessories such as eyewear, hats, purses, and some even have a dog with them.  All of the girls measure over 6 inches in height and print onto 3 pages (landscape). The outfits are fun and unique. You will always be challenged to use various colors while practicing your shading and blending techniques. I had such a blast creating the examples for this project.   Tip: If you have not already, this is a good way to get to know what markers you have. There is a color swatch area to label and try out colors before committing onto a character, which is especially helpful for skin and hair. In my case, I got to know which skin tone markers I had. Victorian Era Fashionable Printable

In this post, we alter a plain spiral pad and create a vintage notebook like no other and a place to keep everyday life's notes & ideas organized. First, we cut out all the designs.
