Coffee and Friends and Layers

Our Coffee with Friends Rubber Stamp is perfect to give as an invitation to a friend or as a "Hey, we had fun together-thank-you-card."
I often find that I don't layer enough in my projects.  The more layers you have, the better the card, tag or journal page looks.  So for this project, I forced myself to add as many color coordinating layers as possible. 

 

A coffee card has to have some caramel colored brown shade to it. I love dollies and how they can be folded to make them even thicker as a layer.  The rick rack ribbon is a pretty pink color that goes well with brown.  The pink and red colors compliment the browns nicely and the white contrast of the doily match the embossed swirl pattern of the white accent paper on the left.

The embossed paper has brown distress ink added at the edges.  Along the bottom is a charm attached to a pink safety pin, attached to another layering of the rick rack ribbon.

New Coloring Booklet Casual Chic

We have a new digital download available: It is the  Casual Chic - Modern Fashion Plates Coloring Booklet   featuring 12 girls dressed in cute outfits along with accessories such as eyewear, hats, purses, and some even have a dog with them.  All of the girls measure over 6 inches in height and print onto 3 pages (landscape). I had such a blast creating the examples for this project.   Tip: If you have not already, this is a good way to get to know what markers you have.
