Mini Handmade Notebook



Deep Red Stamps Always Succeed Rubber Stamp

How to create a mini handmade notebook....so cute and fun to make!  This one was created using our Notebook Steno Rubber Stamp.  Eight pages were stamped on white cardstock with StazOn Black Ink.  An 1/8" hole punch perfectly fits the circles.  The pages are held together with 2 dark copper metal rings (jewelry findings). 


To make a cover for the notebook, I used real wood sheets, stained with Walnut Spray (Ranger) glued onto heavy chipboard.  I envisioned having a single object featured on the cover with a inspirational message on the inside, so I decided on using the Always Succeed Rubber Stamp - lightbulb portion for the front and sentiment inside, both stamped with StazOn black ink.  You can either stamp onto the wood sheet before you add the stain or after.  As those experienced crafters know, StazOn ink is amazing and can stamp on just about any surface!

 
The second page of the notebook, is vellum paper with the text featuring the quote by Thomas Edison.  This quote applies in the craft room as well as life :-)
 


We have 3 different notebook style rubber stamps for the creation of handmade books:
Notebook Spiral Rubber Stamp
Notebook Paper Rubber Stamp
Notebook Steno Rubber Stamp
Each measures the same at: 2" wide x 3" tall (5,0 cm x 7,62 cm)

 
By the way, it just so happens that your mini handmade notebook will fit perfectly into an altered Altoid candy tin (the full sized ones, not the mini).  More about this creation in a later post!  The butterflies featured in this project are from our Butterflies Collection Stamp Set and Butterflies Pair Rubber Stamp Set, except for the metal one you see below (Prima).

New Coloring Booklet Casual Chic

We have a new digital download available: It is the  Casual Chic - Modern Fashion Plates Coloring Booklet   featuring 12 girls dressed in cute outfits along with accessories such as eyewear, hats, purses, and some even have a dog with them.  All of the girls measure over 6 inches in height and print onto 3 pages (landscape).
