Don't worry if your printer has margins, the parts that don't get printed are cut away anyway.
There's only a few cuts and folds to make and you'll see your envelope appear before your eyes!
Hint: use a ruler to fold the fold lines to get a perfect line.
Use a good strong glue for the bottom flap onto the side flaps.
Now the super fun part, stamp images onto your new envelope. Create a matching theme on the A2 card, too, the possibilities are endless!
Above, our Springtime Sparrow Rubber Stamp fits nicely in an envelope corner.
The Dogwood Flowers Rubber Stamp are great to repeat stamp and create a background of flowers.
Make sure you leave room along the bottom of the front, top right (where postage stamps go) and for the return and to address areas.
Above, Rustic Birdhouse Rubber Stamp, nice for the front corner of the envelope.
Tip: You can also just use your printout template to trace around paper that you can't run through a printer.
Our friends at Scrapbook.com are inviting card makers to send in handmade cards with envelopes for their "Cards for Kindness" project in which they will distribute cards to hospitals, nursing homes, military, children's homes, and others.
