Rubber Stamping in Red and Green

We have several rubber stamps of Poinsettias for the holiday crafter. In this post, I'll show you some examples of super cute Christmas themed paper projects using red and green stamping inks.

Our Labrador Christmas Rubber Stamp is designed to compliment our Poinsettia Border Rubber Stamp. Above is a simple Christmas card featuring both. The flowers flow from the truck to the outside circle.

The Season's Greetings Rubber Stamp is featured on the top A2 card.

Tip: when using die cuts on cards, especially intricate ones like the oval shaped one, glue it down using a glue stick. This looks good when using a different color in the same shade family, like a dark green and light green card stock.

Above are some gift boxes that feature:

Color Me Poinsettia Rubber Stamp (bottom gift box)

Holly Background Rubber Stamp (middle gift box) and

Poinsettia Border Rubber Stamp stamped in a dark green ink, watercolored in and gold glitter glue added to the flowers.

Above, our Color Me Poinsettia Rubber Stamp fits nicely onto a 3.5 inch wide gift box. Stamped in red StazOn onto mint green card stock.

Above is our Holly Background Rubber Stamp in Ranger's Fern Green ink onto same 3.5 inch gift box cutout.

Our Poinsettia Border Rubber Stamp works nicely as a background pattern onto a circle. Also, it is designed so that you can cut out portions of it to add flowers as seen in the Labrador Christmas card.

The Labrador Christmas Rubber Stamp looks great stamped in red ink. I added silver sequins to the tires! Brown Distress Ink was added to the edge of the oval cutout.

Hopefully, you will enjoy stamping with your red and green inks this holiday season! Whether you use bright colors or deep hues, they will bring Christmas cheer for all to see.

IPhone Cover Decor

Since Xyron has a fabulous way of making anything into a sticker, I decided to create décor for the back of my cell phone case. Taking beautiful, damask patterned glitter paper from DCWV, 6x6 pad, 'The Glitter Basics" I cut out my iPhone 6s cover pattern using a template I created in plain white cardstock of my case. To cut out the circle in the middle, I used an X-Acto knife.     The Scooter Rubber Stamp was embossed on red paper and cut out with scissors.  I smudged 'Claret' color StazOn ink around the edges.       After placing the scooter through the Xyron Creative Station, I placed it onto the iPhone pattern and ran both through together.  The Creative Station can take such thick items.  You will see below that I ran embellishments made from shrink plastic and it had no problem with them. One of the magical features of the Xyron's sticker makers is that the top of your project comes out unscathed.  You just peel the plas
