Melting Snowflakes and the Blues

Craft away any post-holiday blues with a snowflake themed paper project. I created this card with our Snowflake Background and Cocoa Girl Rubber Stamp. Hot cocoa and snowflakes melt away all sadness!

I stamped Cocoa Girl Rubber Stamp in Stazon Midnight Blue ink along with one of the ticket stamps from Vintage Holiday Tickets (set of 4).

Snowflake Background was stamped in the light blue shade Distress Oxide called Tumbled Glass.

Decorative deckle scissors were used on the left and postage stamp decorative scissors for the edges of the ticket part. Burnish the edges with Distress Oxide in a dark blue shade (Chipped Sapphire).

The textured "paper" from Temu provide an excellent snow falling look and add extra dimension. A die cut snowflake in blue paper and plastic silver glitter snowflake embellishment are the rest of the supplies.

In this post, we alter a plain spiral pad and create a vintage notebook like no other and a place to keep everyday life's notes & ideas organized. First, we cut out all the designs. The notebook used in this project is a Mead Five Star and measures 5 inches x 7 inches. Print out an extra page and trim it to fit the cover. Place over the spirals to crease them so you can see where to snip a line to allow for the metal spirals and glue it to the existing plastic cover.
